Simplicity & Reliability
HeadAlert is built around one uncompromising principle: player safety should be effortless. In grassroots environments, technology that depends on perfect Wi-Fi, mobile apps, or complex pairing simply isn’t practical — and often isn’t even possible. That’s why our system removes every barrier between a head impact and the information needed to make a safe decision.
By housing all sensing, processing, and alerting within the mouthguard itself, HeadAlert eliminates points of failure and ensures consistent performance in real-world conditions. There are no apps to update, no connections to maintain, and no external devices that can run out of battery or be forgotten at home. Whether it’s raining, snowing, or the middle of a busy training session, HeadAlert works instantly and exactly as expected.
This reliability means coaches, medics, referees, and parents can trust the information they see, without worrying about technology interruptions. In the moments after an impact — moments that matter most — HeadAlert delivers simple, clear, and dependable insight.

Built for Grassroots Sport
Grassroots sport is where passion, learning, and community come together — but it’s also where access to specialist medical support and advanced technology is most limited. HeadAlert was designed from the ground up to meet the needs of these environments, offering professional-level impact awareness without the complexity or cost associated with elite solutions.

On school fields, community pitches, and local clubs, incidents often happen quickly and without clear visibility. A player might collide off the ball, fall awkwardly, or be involved in a clash of heads that goes unnoticed until symptoms appear later. With HeadAlert’s simple LED indicators, any adult on the sideline — a coach, volunteer, parent, or teacher — can instantly see whether an impact exceeded important force thresholds. This helps teams act early, reducing risk and supporting proper concussion evaluation.
HeadAlert not only makes safety more accessible but also removes reliance on expensive, ongoing systems. With no subscriptions, no external hardware, and minimal maintenance, it offers grassroots organisations a sustainable way to improve player welfare season after season.
Professionally Fitted for Superior Protection
A mouthguard is only as effective as its fit. That’s why every HeadAlert device is created using impressions taken by a HEADALERT-approved dentist, ensuring exceptional comfort, consistent positioning, and a secure, professional fit that stays in place during play. This accuracy is vital — the built-in sensors require stable contact and repeatable alignment to capture forces precisely.

Working with a dentist means players benefit from the same standard of protection trusted by competitive athletes, without needing to adapt to new shapes or unfamiliar materials. The fitting process mirrors that of any premium custom mouthguard: the dentist takes impressions, confirms sizing, and ensures the player receives a guard tailored to their exact dental profile. From there, our technology is embedded seamlessly into the form factor without adding bulk or affecting breathing, speaking, or comfort.
The result is a mouthguard players actually want to wear — one that feels natural, protects as expected, and enhances safety rather than complicating it. By combining dental expertise with innovative sensing technology, HeadAlert maintains player protection while expanding it into new, vital territory.

Easy to Use, Anywhere the Game Is Played
HeadAlert is designed for the realities of sport: unpredictable weather, crowded sidelines, busy match days, and minimal time for setup or troubleshooting. Using it is as straightforward as it gets — charge it, put it in, and play. Everything else happens automatically.

Each mouthguard is paired with a durable backup power case, engineered for both home charging and sideline use. This means players can top up the charge during tournaments, festivals, or long training sessions without needing access to outlets or cables. The case protects and powers the mouthguard simultaneously, ensuring it’s always ready when needed.
When an LED alert triggers, the system offers two reset options designed around real-world pitch-side procedures. Simply placing the mouthguard back in its charger for five minutes will reset the alert — intentionally timed to allow a medic, coach, or referee to conduct a proper head assessment before clearing the player to return. For situations where additional control is required, officials or medical staff can use a special override key to reset the device instantly.
Every aspect of HeadAlert’s design prioritises ease, clarity, and practicality. There’s no fumbling with apps, no waiting for cloud syncs, and no complicated diagnostic steps. Just simple, robust safety support that fits the rhythm and reality of grassroots sport.

Our Mission
At HeadAlert, our mission is rooted in a genuine commitment to the wellbeing of every athlete — not just those at the elite level. By blending dentist-grade protection with intuitive, self-contained impact-detection technology, we aim to bridge the gap between high-level sports science and the everyday environments where millions of children and adults play for fun, fitness, and passion.

We believe safer sport should be achievable without financial strain, specialist equipment, or technical expertise. That’s why HeadAlert emphasizes practicality, affordability, and reliability above all else. Every feature, from the LED thresholds to the charging case and reset system, has been designed to support clear decision-making in the exact moments when uncertainty is most dangerous.
HeadAlert represents more than innovation — it represents a new standard in accessible player protection. We’re proud to play a role in helping teams, families, and communities create safer sporting experiences today, and in safeguarding the wellbeing of players who will shape the future of the game.
